Moscow’s first monorail rolled into action in late November, running along a track stretching 5 kilometers between metro stations VDNKh and Timiryazevskaya. The monorail is to operate in a limited test regime from 10am to 4pm until January, when expanded regular services are scheduled to begin. During the test regime, a guide is to accompany each run and tell passengers the history of monorail transport. Tickets cost 50 rubles for adults and 25 rubles for school students, while children under 6 ride for free.
