One of the most successful players on Moscow’s nightlife market, the Zeppelin promotion group, celebrates its fifth birthday on Dec. 18. The recent loss of its home venue is no obstacle for the Zeppelin team, which is planning to hold its celebration at Bagrationovsky Most. Not only does this bridge provide an outstanding view of the city at night, but also the possibility of fireworks at the very peak of the party. One of the special guests scheduled is Phil Hartnoll, formerly of Orbital, whose performance is sure to make this a night to remember. 16 Krasnopresnenskaya Nab., tickets 700 rubles in advance or 1,000 rubles on the night, bookings: 207-7611. M. Ulitsa 1905 Goda.
NYE WITH ZEPPELIN AND DIRTY VEGAS If you’re among those who believe the New Year’s character is defined by how you meet it — and if you’re hoping 2005 will be busy, noisy and socially active — then Zeppelin’s New Year’s party is highly recommended. The recently closed nightclub, which lives on by holding parties at changing locations, is promising gourmet food, a sparkling show and the appearance of Grammy Award winners Dirty Vegas. Add a picky guest list restricting numbers to 200 people and an unbelievable view of the city’s landscape from the 27th floor of Bashnya 2000, and you’ve got all the ingredients of a New Year’s to remember.
23a Nab. Tarasa Shevchenko, tickets $100 in advance or $150 at the door, bookings: 207-7611. M. Kievskaya.
