Trish (Bar/Club) [Drinking & dancing]
(M. Sukharevskaya)
Another trendy basement club, this place is covered in manga porn -- but in a tasteful sort of way. The dancefloor is small and features an eclectic mix of music. Sometimes attracts a kinky crowd.

Pattaiya (Restaurant) [Thai]
(M. Sukharevskaya)
Spice levels and flavor complexity will disappoint lovers of real Thai. Telling the waitress you want it extra hot doesn't help. Cheaper than the others, but still not as cheap as it should be. If you want real, hot Thai, go somewhere else.
Roberto (Restaurant) [Italian]
(M. Sukharevskaya)
Some Italians consider this the best and most authentic Italian restaurant in town. The handmade pastas are a real treat; the spaghetti with buffalo cheese, basil and cherry tomatoes is simply divine. Not cheap.

(M. Sukharevskaya)
Everybody's favorite. Great chowder and Louisiana seafood gumbo; good paella and a large selection of wines. Expect large servings and generous freebies like roast garlic cloves, delicious olives in citrus marinade, and excellent cornbread. Even the bottle of water they place on your table is a nice touch.
