Voina I Mir (Bar/Club) [Drinking & dancing]
(M. Park Kultury)
One of the city's few centrally located super-clubs, Voina i Mir ("War and Peace") is a good venue for house and trance fans keen to avoid the face-control of other Moscow clubs. The war theme is perhaps a little disconcerting -- you'll find shooting galleries and toy guns at the bar -- but the atmosphere is otherwise relaxed and the prices democratic. Music varies from house and trance to r&b and chill-out.

The French and Italian cuisine is nothing to write home about but the riverside location and views make it almost worth the trip.

Famed and loved as the definitive cheapo Georgian restaurant. Avoid the "sloyeny" khachapuri.
